The Smart Switch senses an overload condition and turns off high-voltage loads in order of assigned priority.

With no additional hardware, the Smart Switch can control two air conditioning units. Adding an electric Management Module core kit allows adding one third high-voltage device. Fully full of four Power Management Modules (PMMs) allows the smart switch the signal from manage a total of two air conditioning units and four additional high-voltage, high-current appliances.
